Emil Solberg

Emil started his career in the manufacturing industry with CAD/CAM programming and manufacturing of components in various manufacturing processes. He has several years of experience from the manufacturing industry. The technical interest that Emil has fueled him to approach a university degree. He now holds a degree of Bachelor Engineering in Mechatronics at Chalmers University in Gothenburg.

Following his studies was an engineering job at Hexagon. His task was to create tailored automated quality assurance solutions for the Automotive Industry and General Engineering industry. He spent a lot of time at his customers site with commissioning, making sure that the customers got the best solution.

Emil has always had a big interest in manufacturing processes and optimization of process flows with the goal to create a high-quality product and efficient production methods. This drive gave him courage to venture into Wiksfors Technology. At Wiksfors Technology Emil is a highly valuable resource who has a creative mind that provides both mechanical engineering, but also programming and software skills.

Emil lives with his partner and have two children. He likes to spend time in the nature with his family and friends, but he also enjoys spending a few minutes every month on cars and fishing.
